BU Storage is a new speciality entity. Due to the rapid growth of the battery energy storage market Equans wants to centralise key expertise, standardize customer solutions and establish international partnerships with customers and suppliers. Central entity working closely with local Equans entities in multiple countries worldwide. Expect a start-up in a corporate environment, with an entrepreneurial mentality and a pragmatic approach.
The Bid manager will manage the bidding process for our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The successful candidate will be both responsible for:
• managing the entire incoming bid process, creating proposals, from the initial opportunity assessment to the final submission of the bid related to BESS activities,
The Bid Manager will work closely with our business development team, purchase department, engineering, construction and finance teams, legal to deploy an efficient and quick bidding process following incoming of any invitation to tender from customer request.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage the entire bidding process for the organization, from initial bid review to contract negotiation and closing the deal,
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as business dev, finance, legal, and project management teams, to ensure bids are complete, accurate, and meet the client's needs,
· Capable to challenge input from internal stakeholders to optimize the customer solution
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals to prospective clients, ensuring they meet client specifications and requirements,
• Maintain a comprehensive database of all bids submitted, including wins, losses, and reasons for each outcome,
• Identify potential suppliers and vendors for materials and services required for projects.
• Evaluate supplier and vendor proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and services.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to determine project needs and ensure alignment of procurement strategies with project goals.
Profil
• Bachelor's degree in Energy
• Proven experience as a Bidding with a track record of winning bids, procurement activities and negotiating contracts,
· Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong knowledge of bidding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate contracts with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce, bid
