Job description

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our Facilities Management team in Bristol and covering the West of England region.  This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours p/week from 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

The role:

·         Reporting to the General Manager
·         To facilitate TFM activities with respect to planned/ reactive maintenance, minor project work, Cleaning and Security
·         Ensure contract delivery in line with H&S, Quality Assurance, Environment Management systems and Finance systems
·         Responsibility for all key performance indicators of the contract
·         Development, implementation and updating of all planned maintenance regimes
·         Ensure and be responsible for full statutory compliance
·         Ownership of the financial performance for the western sites against budget and procedures
·         Manage and maintain all IT systems to keep them up to date
·         Work alongside the project department to agree major works quotes with the client
·         Communication with various departments such as HR and Procurement to ensure compliance with policies
·         Based in the West covering various western locations working 40 hours per week, from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday


The person:

·         Experience of working on, and managing, a total FM contract
·         Experience of managing a mobile team and the ability to address challenging situations
·         Proven record of excellent customer service / client liaison skills
·         Budgetary experience and responsibility with proven commercial acumen
·         Previous experience of using a CAFM system
·         To manage and be part of the on call rotation for the site
·         Experience of working in a governmental environment an advantage
·         Government clearance is a requirement of the role
