Mission: Controls the Production/Materials activity and performance within his/her structure by ensuring compliance with the rules and legislation in force.
Main Responsibilities: Controls the production activity and prioritizes the allocation of resources: distributes the activity over the different sites, oversees sourcing and purchasing, shipping and receiving, handling, inventory control, warehousing and transportation Controls the performance: consolidates expenditure budgets, consolidates operational excellence indicators, is responsible for activity reporting, defines equipment resources, assists quarry managers in optimizing their performance, identifies weaknesses or risk, suggests operational changes to ensure the efficient supply and movement of goods, etc.Is responsible for monitoring product quality: calls on the technical department to carry out the checks Participates in the technical definition of investments: identifies requirements, spearheads innovations, etc.Is in charge of health, safety and the environment: Ensures the protection of property, people and the environment and guarantees compliance with legislation, internal rules and proceduresManages people: leads his/her team, defines the staff resources, trains, recruits, assesses, etc.
Profile: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 5-6 years of experience
