Job description

Storage is a new speciality entity integrated in the Energie business unit. Due to the rapid growth of the battery energy storage market Equans wants to centralise key expertise, standardize customer solutions and establish international partnerships with customers and suppliers. Central entity working closely with local Equans entities in multiple countries worldwide. Expect a start-up in a corporate environment, with an entrepreneurial mentality and a pragmatic approach.
-          Represent and promote the company to all the market stakeholders in relation with EPC and Project Development services.
-          Actively identify, create and address new business opportunities on the storage up to achieving a successful agreement. throughout Europe and UK first and soon US and Australia
-          Develop and maintain clients’ long-term trustful relationships.
-          Negotiate contract terms with clients (and communicate with stakeholders)
-          Identify potential partners and build up quality relationships.
-          Coordinate with the engineering department, aiming for the most optimized solutions for the submission of offers for clients.
-          Capable to challenge technical solutions, price estimations
-          Coordinate with the support services at BU level and parent company level for all matters relating to legal, compliance, taxes, security, health, and safety, …
-          Report to the company board in respect to the internal commercial process
-          Work in a Pre-construction approach to ensure a smooth transition to the execution phase of the projects.
-          Create a network within the Equans Group to develop the strategy of project development (identify potential site for future storage project).
-          Facilitates and secures a continuous improvement process


-          Master degree
-          Proven at least 10 years’ experience in a Business Development Position in the Energy sector
-          Excellent communication skills in English
-          Strong technical skills
-          Proven experience in successful EPC-contract negotiations
-          Strong team leadership skills.
-          Strategic Business development management with international experience
