Colas Projects is looking for a field quality coordinator for the LRT project in Edmonton, Canada (construction of a light rail transit).

Profil

Your mission: Colas Projects is looking for a field quality coordinator for the LRT project in Edmonton, Canada (construction of a light rail transit).
Your main responsibilities: Assist the quality manager on :• Review construction performance to ensure early identification of variances and deficiencies• Ensure early identification and documentation of non-conformities through regular surveillance audits, site walkdowns, and other forms of QC activities• Support external ISO 9001 regulation and assessment audit programs.• Support and assist in all external and internal audits.• Review, approve and develop Inspection and Testing Plans (ITP) and their associated checklists and inspection forms• Perform and document regular surveillance audits to ensure adherence to the ITP program• Monitor and evaluate the subcontractors' performance and report to the Construction Quality Manager.• Verify project requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals• Manage the material receiving process to ensure all received materials are in conformance with the approved submittal, stored and handled properly.• Review and monitor the disposition and status of all issued nonconforming reports and evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of the associated corrective actions.• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system.• Recommend and implement improvements when required.
Your Profile: • Good knowledge and experience in the implementation of problem-solving methodology• Good knowledge in ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System• Thorough knowledge of general construction methods and construction codes• Understand the requirements of fire-related construction requirements.• Strong organizational skills• Proficiency in MS Office and Quality Management systems.• Detail oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
